Omnium Gatherum & Vade Mecum

I have a composition book I carry with me, that I bought for a dollar at the Dollar Store. I don't call it my Vade Mecum ( "Go with me." ); I call it my Vade Mekong, which means - I suppose - "Go, O, Mekong River!"
