Death Of A Salesman is subject to some penetrating review in
Tablet magazine.
It mentions that Miller compared his play to
King Lear.
Of course, he did; Lear was a putz, just like Loman was a putz, and just like Hidetora in Kurosawa's
Ran was a total putz.
