I see that Iran has executed the lady who has been on death row, on and off, since 2003.

I want to condemn this act of barbarism.

I live in Michigan, USA, a state created in 1838, and in all that time, we of Michigan have never, ever allowed capital punishment in our community.

The rest of the USA is not in such a position to make commentary, as I wonder how many women have been executed here since 2003. I know of one who was executed a couple of months ago.

We condemn the barbarism.
