Thanks. I love wind and I love trees.

The third from the top is a photo of trees at Cranbrook, which I should have mentioned. It is approaching the house through an allee from the school - I think

I was going to guess that the Black River was set in the State Game area... just maybe 2 to 4 miles west of the Dorsey House... east of Avoca...

...and I was seeking a trinity of trees, just as depicted in the picture "Arboles". Didn't quite get it, altho the Cranbrook trees did have three that stood out more than the rest.

Three trees = the three fates...
just like that.

Even these pictures of unspoiled nature make me think of the Gulf oil spill.

Ah, Cranbrook. I have fond memories of that triumvirate: the Saarenens: papa, mama and son - designed the room I stayed in. Father architect, mother textiles, son furnishings. It nurtured my soul.

The sight of trees in the wind seem to me to be a metaphor for the movement of the soul.

When I saw the three trees at Cranbrook bending in the wind, I knew what I would see when my time came: the rush of wind through the trees.
It happened quickly, and I stood still for a moment, then continued on to the Scripps House.

Baysage, what are you going to do when some real serious stuff starts hitting the fan?
I guess you're not going to take it very well when August arrives and the relief well goes bust, too.

My favorite picture of Spill County, Alabama is Sen. Richard Shelby learning that what goes around comes around...
He was rather "remote" when other states needed support for industries. Now Alabama needs some he'p.
