The night of June 4 in Detroit:
The early morning of June 6:
Dundee, MI
Lake Township, OH
Some friends who had to return home early were driving to the airport at 3:00 AM Sunday, and the expressway underpasses were flooded, the trip taking 1 1/2 hours instead of the usual 1/2 hour from downtown Detroit.
My wife and I were married a few hours after Tropical Storm Doria had passed through Long Island in August, 1971, dumping 8 inches of rain, and flooding roads. There was no power at all in Nassau County, Long Island that morning, and no lights, A/C, or even fans in the church, but nothing could stop us.

Wow.
I thought about you in the evening Saturday, hoping it was done by then so the rain didn't play a part. Good deal.
We were under a great, big tent, and the rain wasn't blowing enough to inconvenience anyone. We left at a bit before midnight, so the rain actually did not play a part on the evening of the fifth.
Staying at the Ren Cen Marriott, we were awakened at 1:30 AM or so by interminable announcements for people in the upper floors to stay away from perimeter windows...
I wasn't up nearly that high.
Baysage had a comment here, but I sent it to the Data Sink by mistake: always had trouble with those little check boxes next to each other.
Sorry, old chap.
As they say in Okie State: not a problem.
