Shangri-La?

Catholic Church in Cizhong, near the Tibetan Border

When people discuss religions and their respective good points and bad, people often point to Buddhism as a exception to the religious history of war and intolerance. However, I often said that not every Buddhist is smiling, no matter how many times one see the Dalai Lama doing so.
I am studying the teachings of the Lord Buddha, as well as the logic and natural philosophy of the early Buddhists - with a view to understanding them in comparison to early Greek natural philosophy - and I do not seek to criticize anyone. However, in all things religious, it is important to remember that religion seeks to transform particularly obdurate cathecumens: the human race !
