Miracles

Of course I believe in miracles. I do not believe that the processes which make up the Universe can be so complete as to prohibit leaps and jumps and sports outside the prisons of normative physical laws. Einstein once said, referring to his criticism of Quantum Physics, that God does not play dice with the Universe. This puts Einstein directly opposed to Heraclitus who not only said that everything changes or flows, but also that the God does play and He does so all the time! God does not catalogue. God does not put into boxes. God makes increase and diversity, not diminution and conformity. The law of God is like the soil where a million millions of flowers bloom, all different, yet in many ways alike. The One and the Many. When we put the Universe into the Box of One: one grand unified theory, we shall no doubt find that as we turn our backs to get a cup of tea for Kurt Schrodinger and his cat, upon our return, the Box will have been opened, and a telescoping matryushka parade of boxes will have spilled out, creating a new infinity of things for scientists to encapsulate! Miracles come in all sizes.
