In essence, rich countries are trying to find a way to fill their petrol tanks at the expense of empty stomachs in Africa, Mexico, and parts of Asia. Are not the Poor Laws in force? And the workhouses, surely they are still in full vigor? We do not intend to harm other people. The distinction is keenly appreciated by us. The people who are trodden under our feet have a slightly different and jaundiced view of the matter.

Other previously natural acres and wetlands are being plowed up for growing this highly profitable crop. It's also hurting the enviorment.
...and it is all for the benefit of a very small group of people, not the community at large.
