Law Of Gravity Repealed!!
The state of Alaska is seeking to force the US government to withdraw a Department of the Interior decision of May 14, 2008, which listed polar bears as an endangered species, this being due to the disappearance of the ice in the Arctic.
The bears use sea ice as a platform for seal hunts.
This is all to the good.
Questions of science should be left to those most knowledgeable: the politicians; and questions of politics should be left to the most knowledgeable: the politicians, and politicians should be supported by business money.
It's the American way.
Similarly, I have often found the so-called "Law" of Gravity to get in way and to be obstreperous and generally a nusiance.
I am beginning a petition to have the US Department of the Interior annul it.
For, indeed, I have heard it said that the Bush Administration will be regarded by historians as a successful administration-much to the surprise of those whom it killed or tortured. I have heard that it will attain this eminence "when pigs fly!"
What quicker way to speed things along than doing away with that old gravity thing.
Surely a people that did away with the Geneva Conventions should not have any problem with the Law of Gravity.
