So I watched Two and A Half Men. Charlie Sheen's character seems to be pretty much what he's really like. So the network and the studio and producers came up with this idea to showcase this type of destructive personality, and they hired a destructive type to play it, and everyone is surprised that it has ended up over the top.
When everyone is an enabler - with adulation, money, scripts, reinforcement.... - how could Charlie Sheen not have ended up thinking he had with "tiger's blood and Apollo genes"? I mean, for pity sake. The guy in the sit-com is a slightly toned down version of the real guy as he appears on 20/20 right now!
