Now "glabrous" means a surface devoid of hair, and in this case, referring to the human  body could mean devoid of hair or pubescent hair.
The picture of Mr. Murdoch's ancient hands stripped of their youthful hirsute covering, and now festooned with liver-spots is ghastly in its perfection of detail.

I will not cross either of these gentlemen.

We do not hear much about Rupert Murdoch's strange Tweet-Tirade (Antisemitische Tischsprache mit 140 Worten) anymore since he apologized.
Merely scratch the surface of his news empire, and disclose some sordid and appalling infestation, whether it be in the UK, the USA, or any other land to which they have spread.

News Corp

A British parliamentary committee has issued a report, the majority of members stating that Rupert Murdoch is not a "fit person to exercise the stewardship of a major international company."

The price of the shares of News Corp rose 1.7% in the afternoon, demonstrating that shareholders fancy the idea of the company without the presence of the Murdochs,  who continue to treat it as if it were a private company and their own fiefdom. A rise in price was anything but a vote of confidence in Rupert Murdoch; it was the way the market added its 2 cents to the report.
