This last election was the first time I ever, ever voted straight ticket.
I'm not going to say which party, but I was in with the roses and the winners.
Amazing.
And I supported Barry Goldwater in 1964, believe it or not.

I supported Goldwater too in 1964--that was my father voting-- and Nixon in 1968, which is even worse. I believed the bastard about his "secret plan" to end the war. I was never again fooled by the Republican party, but I've not voted for a Democrat every time either.
I bet the Greens wondered what happened to me.
