I Predict...

The money spent by Super PACs in 2012 will be so outrageous that it will cause a backlash against those seen as their primary beneficiary - maybe both candidates.

Nah. The winner will be as happy as a pig in shit. The loser may condemn PACs. Which are awful, terrible. The hypocrisy, lying, and shallowness of the people running for president, including the president, are worse. But we'll end up with one or the other.

Maybe not. Maybe a dark horse will come out of the convention, like a General Petraeus or something.

Maybe something will happen that will stun us into the state of morbidity we - the American people - fall into when something frightens us... like 9/11 which frightened us into curtailing our own rights...
or like when the USSR dropped their atom bomb... which frightened us into curtailing our own rights...
