Students rioted - or stampeded - in response to the firing of Joe Paterno.
So far as we can tell, no one has rioted in response to a systematic cover-up of child abuse, but maybe today there will be an Occupy Penn State (OPS) demonstration.
The Board President was asked if he was aware that the students were rioting in response to the Board's action, as if this awareness should have tempered their decision. Should we not do our duty if people were riot? If people disapprove of our decision, should we back off?
