Scrooge McDuck and a Gazillion Dollars
Apparently Republicans do not want to take away my Medicare; they only want to take away my daughter's.
Their plan calls for 3 Trillion Dollars more in tax cuts, with no indications of how the money is to be made up. Perhaps they think that the wizard of tax cuts for the wealthy will wave its magic wand again!
At this point, when I discuss budgetary topics with Republicans, I shall now use words like "Gazillion" and "Fantasticabillion" ... those Scrooge McDuck monetary concepts make more sense than does "von" Ryan's Express to The Great Impoverishment.

Would you mind telling me how we got to a situation in this country where taxes of any description whatsoever are summarily dismissed from consideration by millions of deluded people? And how does this insane idea determine the course that both parties in the U.S.? Who in their right mind could still contend that trickle down economics actually works? It's failed more than once.
I think most people with a brain realize that trickle down is Voodoo Economics, and that jobs aren't created because you do not tax the wealthy... you have to have something to be an entrepreneur about even before the tax break.
They are all insane. That's why it will crash. Then I can guarantee you we'll find a way.
