Observations On Great Men

Bill O'Reilly on Nelson Mandela:

“He was a communist, this man. He was a communist, all right? But he was a great man! What he did for his people was stunning!… He was a great man! But he was a communist!”

John of Patmos on Bill O'Reilly:
Revelations 3: 15-16
I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.

When Senator Ted Cruz lauded Nelson Mandela, his FaceBook page was disgraced by crude racist comments.

“Let’s not forget that Mandela called Castro’s Communist revolution ‘a source of inspiration to all freedom-loving people,’” said Mike Bates.  Another commenter, Derek Crawford wrote, “stunned to see you support this scumbag, Mr. Cruz…Mandela was a murderer, and a terrorist..not to mention a communist.”

The Conservativism is dead in the USA, and in its place reigns the Tea Party.
Bill O'Reilly tries to pretend that there is a place for intelligent Conservatism, but it seems to be a hollow charade.

Matthew says of all of us:
12: 33-37
“Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad, for the tree is known by its fruit. You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. The good person out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure brings forth evil. I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
If the good person brings forth good, then if Mandela was a great man, then we must conclude that the matter of Communism is meaningless. The tree is known by its fruit.

When the crunch comes, Mr. O'Reilly will abandon the Tea Party radicals.
