One would think that legal professionals should be able to actually have a legal trial without endlessly dragging things out. Is Justice so difficult to chivvy from its burrow? Or is the Legal system crap?

No. The Italians will not ask for her to be extradited, and even if they did, the US would not force the issue, since, if she were to stand trial again, it would be double-jeopardy.
I did not mean merely the Italian legal system. I meant just about everyone's, but that was in the heat of the moment.
Now I know Justice may be blind, and the legal professionals are blinder.
