Thank you, Russia, for sparing us from (1) a first step into a new war, and (2) an embarrassing vote that well may have rendered our President inconsequential for the next 2 years.

(I still consider it a fact that every President since Eisenhower has been manipulated by the military-industrial complex, which since 9/11, has become the military-industrial-intelligence complex.

To achieve their ends, the will destroy the political process if they have to.

I like Mr. Obama. We should be able to keep him around as a viable President until the end of his second term.)
