If Congress does not overwhelmingly support President Obama on a Syrian "strike" - (whatever that word may mean and entail) - then he will be a "lame duck" for the next 2 1/2 years.
That is a long time for a nation to twist in the wind.
It is ironic, too, that a man who ran against the George W. Bush legacy may become the instrument of Karma, as we continue to pay for the crimes committed.
